Carla Brunetti’s artisanal workshop was established in 1981 in Bolzano (South Tyrol), a Northern Italian region where German, Italian and Ladin cultures live together. This background is at the core of Carla Brunetti’s design and is essential in order to understand her jewellery philosophy. Her unique style results from the encounter between different cultures and even far away places and times.
The cohesistance between past and presence is the most remarkable character in our jewellery production, a fusion between stories and semi-precious stones with soft fabrics and metals which are processed by Carla Brunetti to be assembled in a new guise thus resulting up-to-date and able to charm the contemporary public.
Pearls of Venetian and Mauritanian glass, old stones and beads of Mali, old sea Indian shells; furthermore, Yemeni, Moroccan and Italian coral and silver, Afghan bitumen fossil and carnelians are turned into mesmerizing jewels. Every bead, every stone tells its story and is distilled by the designer into a collection with a strong identity where old and new materials coexist in an utmost personal, contemporary spirit.
In 2020, the stylist Carla Brunetti handed on the brand to her son Jacopo, with the intent to safeguard the taste and quality that has invariably been distinguishing the brand since its creation.
